ABSTRACT
Tecnological advance has contributed to major changes in teaching systems and modalities. this study aims to analyze and understand whether teachers in the area of languages of the 3rd cycle and secondary education use mobile tecnologies as teaching-learning tools. To achieve this objective, a quantitative analysis was carried out by applying a questionnaire. It was concluded that teachers, in general, recognize that mobile applications should be used as teaching-learning tools. However, it also found that only 7.3% use mobile applications as teaching-learning tools. Besides, the majority of teachers say that educational institutions do not provide the necessary conditions that allow teaching using mobile applicattions.
